Artist Sourcing Engagement

Emergency Replacement

Software access is a subscription. Human work is a managed-service fee. Commission applies only where Kalinklo directly represents, sources, or manages the engagement. Three distinct revenue lines — not a tax on everything.
Agency OS and Season Desk customers pay for the software, not a percentage of their bookings. Keep your commission structure, your client relationships, and your margin.
Founding-cohort Verified Artists stay free at their tier. Artist Pro, when it launches post-charter, is opt-in additive — not a forced migration.
Orchestras think in seasons, not $49/month SaaS. Agencies run serious offices. Pricing reflects that — published openly so procurement leads, ops directors, and managers can budget without a sales call.
Kalinklo earns through three distinct revenue lines: subscription fees for software access, managed-service fees for human work, and commission only where Kalinklo represents the artist directly. A blanket 3.5–6% platform tax on every engagement contradicts that positioning — it would mean charging agencies and orchestras a percentage of relationships they already own.
Only on engagements where Kalinklo is the agent — i.e. when an artist is on Kalinklo Managed Artist and Kalinklo sources, negotiates, contracts, or manages the booking. If an Agency OS customer books their own artist using Kalinklo as backend software, no commission applies — that's a subscription relationship, not representation.
If Kalinklo processes a transaction, third-party payment processing costs (e.g. card fees) are passed through transparently. If Kalinklo handles escrow, collection, or settlement administration on behalf of a client, it's billed as a clearly-named admin/payment-handling line — never disguised as a booking commission.
Verified Artists who join during the founding cohort are grandfathered at their current tier. Artist Pro, when it launches post-charter, is an optional add-on with additional features. Existing Verified Artists are not migrated, downgraded, or pushed to pay.
Yes. Tier changes are by request and take effect from the next billing period. Annual Season Desk contracts adjust at renewal. Downgrades respect any entitlements your existing engagements depend on — the platform tells you what would be affected before you confirm.
Season Desk is annual by design — orchestras and institutions plan in seasons. Agency OS is monthly by default with annual options available; Enterprise / White-label is annual contract.
