We charge for access, service, or representation
Software access is a subscription. Human work is a managed-service fee. Commission applies only where Kalinklo directly represents, sources, or manages the engagement.
No platform tax on your engagements
Organization and Agency OS customers pay for software, not a percentage of their bookings. Keep your commission structure, client relationships, and margin.
Frequently asked.
Why is there no generic platform fee on engagements?
Kalinklo earns through subscriptions for software, managed-service fees for human work, and commission only where Kalinklo directly represents the artist. We do not tax relationships that agencies and orchestras already own.
When does the 20% commission apply?
Only when Kalinklo is the agent for a Managed Artist and sources, negotiates, contracts, or manages the booking. Agency OS customers pay a subscription and keep their own commission structure.
What about payment processing or escrow?
Third-party processing costs are passed through transparently. Escrow, collection, or settlement administration is quoted as a named service line, never disguised as booking commission.
Is Verified Artist really free?
Yes. Verified Artist is free, with no platform fee on your bookings. Artist Pro, once available, is optional; existing Verified Artists are not forced to migrate or pay. Commission applies only if Kalinklo represents you as a Managed Artist.
Can I move between tiers later?
Contact us to review your plan and timing. Where card checkout is switched on, an organization administrator can change plan in Settings → Billing: the new plan and its features apply once payment is confirmed, and one billing period is added after any time already paid, without proration. For organization plans paid offline, a different plan can be recorded only after the current paid period ends. We review the effect of downgrades; annual agreements follow their signed terms.
How does billing work?
Organization and Agency OS plans are billed monthly, and Artist Pro is monthly when available. Card checkout runs where our payment provider is configured and proven; otherwise the office can arrange an approved offline payment, including a PO reference and bank transfer. Enterprise agreements can arrange a custom billing cadence.
Can our purchase order and bank transfer be recorded?
Yes, for approved offline organization payments. The office can record your PO reference and a cleared bank transfer. After payment is recorded, the system issues a numbered invoice and receipt for the paid period.
Can we evaluate an organization workspace?
Request organization access to discuss an evaluation. Trial dates and workspace scope are confirmed during setup. A trial may include tools outside the paid plan you choose; review the included features before activation.
