For musical theater

Musical theater runs a company and a pit — on one production.

A show is a company and a pit on different calls — music rehearsals, staging, put-ins, understudy rehearsals, tech, previews, then eight shows a week. Kalinklo holds the run as one production: cast, ensemble, swings, and pit musicians each see only their own calls, put-ins and understudy tracking stay honest, and the music team runs on the same schedule.

The theater problem

Company and pit, one show, many calls

The company (music and staging) and the pit (the contractor's musicians and subs) run on separate calls inside the same show. Generic tools flatten them into one folder. Kalinklo scopes each performer and player to their own calls and keeps put-ins and coverage honest.

  1. Staff

    Build the run

    manage

Create the production, schedule music rehearsals through previews and the run, cast leads, ensemble, and swings, and call the pit — the contractor books musicians and subs on the same production.

  2. Performer

    See their own calls

    confirm

A swing sees the tracks and put-ins they cover; a reed player sees the pit services and the sub rotation. Nobody sifts a company-wide calendar for their own calls.

  3. Leadership

    Track put-ins + coverage

    track

The Command Center shows which put-ins are done, which understudies are ready, and where the pit still needs a sub — before the next performance.
