What Kalinklo Artists is
Kalinklo Artists is an engagement platform for orchestral and concert music. It runs the work between an artist's confirmation and the wire transfer — request, hold, quote, contract, invoice, settlement — under one roof, with audit on every move.
It is built on a single assumption: the relationship between presenter and artist belongs to the people in it, not to a marketplace. The platform charges for software (proposals, e-sign, payouts, approvals), not for a percentage of your relationships. Booking fees, where they apply, are small and capped.
Who it serves
- Artists & ensembles. A public folio, declared availability, request-hold links, and the office of contracts and payouts.
- Agencies & managers. Roster, split payouts, approval chains, white-label proposals — built to replace office overhead, not the agent.
- Presenters. Standard contracting, season planning, talent pools, vendor docs.
- Institutions. PO-friendly procurement, approval chains, budget tracking, dedicated account management.
The work, in one screen
Every engagement moves through the same five offices. The platform is the record of when each step is taken, by whom, and what was agreed.
- Request. A presenter submits a request-hold from an artist's folio. The artist is notified.
- Hold. The artist or their agent accepts. A Hold is placed with an expiry; the calendar is checked for conflicts and the presenter is notified.
- Quote. The Hold becomes a Quote. The presenter accepts or declines.
- Contract. Approval flips the Quote to a Contract — the record of agreement and the source of subsequent invoicing.
- Invoice & settlement. The Contract issues an Invoice. On payment, a Settlement closes the engagement and the platform fee is recorded against the workspace.
Every transition writes to the audit log. Both sides see the same numbers on the same row.
