Kalinklo runs one operations engine with vocabulary and service-type suggestions tuned to your kind of organization. You pick your type when you create the workspace, and the setup page shows a getting-started card matched to it. Here is what setup looks like for each type — and, honestly, what is usable today, what is ready to wire, and what still needs product or implementation approval.
Orchestra / symphony
- Import first: your roster (musicians + sections) from Personnel → Import — CSV or paste.
- Invite first: your orchestra / personnel manager and section principals; add the rest of the roster after.
- Productions & services: a production is a program or concert cycle; its services are the rehearsals and performances members are called to.
- Fully supported — this is the engine's home ground.
Opera company
- Import first: your company (principals, chorus, orchestra) from Personnel → Import.
- Invite first: your music, production, and chorus staff.

- Guided pilot: cast / cover persistence is ready to wire, but customer-facing cast / cover screens, voice-type fields, and rehearsal reports are not enabled yet. Use documents and roles meanwhile.
Festival

School / youth music program

Chamber ensemble
- Import first: your players.

- Productions & services: a production is a scoring project or session block; its services can be spotting sessions, recording sessions, overdubs, orchestration reviews, copyist deadlines, mix reviews, cue reviews, deliveries, and pickup sessions.
- Demand-pulled pilot: session / cue / deliverable persistence is ready to wire, but takes, rights / residuals, studio booking, session payroll, and customer-facing scoring workflows require a paying design partner and legal review. Do not claim this as a proven scoring-stage system.

If your exact model is not listed, choose the closest type or Other for the plain operations engine. Kalinklo adds verticals by configuration plus named native primitives, not forks.
