Artist verification
How Kalinklo verifies artists
Presenters book people they can trust. Verification tells them that a profile belongs to the musician it names. Here is exactly what we check and what happens to your documents.
The verification tiers
- Email verified: the account's email address is confirmed. A complete profile can then appear in presenter search.
- Identity verified: Kalinklo has reviewed evidence that the profile belongs to the named musician. Presenters see an identity-verified mark, and the profile ranks higher in search.
- Suspended: the profile is hidden from presenter search until the issue is resolved with Kalinklo support.
Evidence we accept
- A government-issued photo ID showing the same name as your profile, with any document number covered.
- A recent contract, programme or press listing from an established presenter that names you.
- Proof of membership of a professional orchestra, ensemble, musicians' union or agency.
- Up to 3 files per request, as PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP, 10 MB each.
What we do not accept
- Screenshots of social-media profiles or follower counts on their own.
- Documents in another person's name, or edited documents.
- Bank, tax or health records. Never send them.
How the review works
- Only Kalinklo's verification team, Super Admins signed in with multi-factor authentication, can open the files.
- We compare the evidence with your profile and decide. Presenters and agencies never see your documents.
- You are notified of the decision. If it is not approved you see the reason and can send new evidence.
Privacy and retention
- Files are stored privately and are never published or shared.
- They are deleted as soon as a decision is made.
- If no decision is made within 30 days, the request closes and the files are deleted.
- Closing your account withdraws any open request and deletes its files.
Artists added by an agency
- A profile an agency imported has no login of its own. Kalinklo verifies it off-platform, only with the representing agency's consent, and stores no documents.
- When the artist claims the profile, they manage their own verification from then on.
