My Week is your home
Open your portal and you land on My Week: your next service with its call time, dress, venue and room, the repertoire, and the parts assigned to you — nothing that belongs to someone else. "Today" and "Tomorrow" are your orchestra's local days, always.
Confirming an assignment
When personnel assigns you, a Confirm your assignment card appears at the top of My Week showing exactly what you're committing to — the service, its date and time, and the venue. Tap Confirm and you'll see it registered immediately; staff see it too, so nobody phones you to double-check. Can't play tells staff you're unavailable — it asks you to make sure first, because it drops you from the call.
If you mis-tap Can't play, the declined assignment stays visible on My Week with a re-confirm option — or contact the personnel office.
Schedule changes
When a call time moves or a service is cancelled, a Schedule changes to acknowledge card appears on My Week with the old and new times. Tap Got it — that's how staff know the change reached you, instead of chasing the whole section by phone.
Getting your calendar on your phone
Your personal calendar feed contains only your own services and updates automatically. From My Week, open the calendar/export option to copy your personal feed link, then:
- iPhone (Apple Calendar): Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar → paste the link.
- Android (Google Calendar): On the web at calendar.google.com → Other calendars → “+” → From URL → paste the link. It then syncs to the phone app.
- Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste the link.
The link is private to you — treat it like a password. If it ever leaks, ask staff to reissue it.
Documents and acknowledgements
Parts and materials assigned to you appear under Documents. Some documents and announcements require an acknowledgement — one tap records that you've seen them, and the librarian or personnel manager can see the section is covered without asking around.
Pay
Pay shows your finalized service counts once your organization's payroll review is locked for the period. If something looks wrong, contact the personnel office — Kalinklo records the counts; your orchestra's payroll office applies your agreement.
Who to contact
Anything about your schedule, chair, or availability: your personnel office (their contact is on your portal). Something broken in the app itself: the contact form at /help.
